Configurable List Widget and adding a single column - or workaround.

I really wish you would create a way for the form calculation to add up just a single column from inside the configurable list widget. this would be extremely helpful.  I see that many others have asked as well.  In my case we are creating a form for employees to submit their hours.  We need three columns:  1)  the date, 2) the location worked, and 3) the hours.  they add another row and set the next date, the next location for that date, and then the hours for that day.  The dates worked vary from employee to employee, so I like the configurable list option because they can add as many rows as they need.  some employees only need a few rows, and some need more  I would really like to be able to have the final submission calculate the total hours (i.e. add up only the third column amounts into a final amount).  This would save the huge step of our payroll having to add up two weeks of hours for every employee every time.  any chance there is a workaround even? thanks.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately it is not possible to calculate the columns or rows in the Configurable List Widget. This widget is only designed for collecting data from users, not perform calculations.

A possible workaround I can suggest would be to use the Spreadsheet Widget instead. This widget allows you to use calculation functions on its cells. However, this widget is not a dynamically expanding widget like the configurable list.
