Asked by venga on April 24, 2012 at 10:57 PM

I have some number and dollar fields in my form and i need to do operations with :   + , -, *  and /

The result would be in last field .

How can I do that ?

    Thanks

Besides the sum of prices in a payment field, our form builder does not currently have calculating ability, although the feature has been requested and to my knowledge, is on our todo list.

However, it is possible to edit a copy of the form's full source to make the functionality you want a reality. If you provide the URL to a sample form and explain exactly what you want to happen, we should be able to provide a solution similar to what is illustrated here.

    Can be something like that:

A button "calc" would be fine , to fill last field. Or can do the calc automatically.

    Thanks

    Hi again venga

My apologies for not getting back to you sooner. Anyway, please do the following:

    1. Clone the form at this link

    2. Copy this code and paste it into the position of your web page's source where you want the form to appear

    3. In the code you pasted in Step 2, change all seven (7) instances of 21154070149849 (my form's ID) to your clone's ID (the string of digits at the end of its URL)

    4. Copy this block of JavaScript and paste it just before the closing body tag of the web page, as follows:

That's about it. Be sure to let us know if everything works out okay.
