    Hello Eduardo,

When a form is submitted you can make a link in the email notification with that can redirect to the form with the URL parameters populated by selected fields from the form.

    Please check this guide Prepopulating-the-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters.
Once you have this URL, you can put it in your email notification for access later on.

    Hope this help. Thanks.

    Hi,

I think that's not what I really want, cuz in this way it will pre determine a fixed value for the fields.

I'll try to explain the whole process.

When my client fill the form and submit it. He will be sent back to the beginning of the form to fill it again, and almost all the fields will be the same. So I want that the form "records" the data that my client had filled before and after he submit it and be sent back to the beggining of the form, the data will be there to be changed if it needs.

Hope you can understand what I need and help if it possible. Thanks in advance.

    Eduardo

You can also add an {Edit} link.
In the email notification you will find this on the right portion.(see screen below)
You can also see this longer version guide How-to-Make-a-Clickable-Edit-Link

    Hope this answers it. Thanks.

    Hi,

Well I found a forum that could answer my question, but I noticed that I need to have some skills with PHP and MySQL.

    Thanks for the patience Jonathan.

The problem I'm having is the same of this guy:

    Thanks.

    Hi Eduardo,

Indeed you will need some server side programming, and database to accomplish this.

On the answered thread you provided, the requirement by byronjlunz was achieved using flat file as datasource. This means that on your end, you must have access to your form source code as well as the server side requirements(PHP, scripts, database) to do some programming.

You form is quite complex and obviously, some real hard work had been put into it.
I will assist you on the best of my ability (and time I have), but we must have some base that we can achieve this at all.

Do we have the initial requirements such as database, server access, source code authority to work on?

    Thanks.
