It was working fine the all of a sudden last week I no longer receive any emails.

Correction. Posted incorrect information before. Here is the error message:

The email server does not seem to be responsing at all. Do you normally receive emails on email@example.com?

yes we have since last year and all of a sudden it stopped on 22nd Nov ? I haven't made any changes to the server except to whitelist Jof form after we stopped receiving.

Can you show that error message to your hosting provider and see if they can identify the problem?
