    iFrame automatically scrollling/jumping after 'next'

    Asked by JeronMusic on October 03, 2016 at 03:58 AM

    Hello,

    This seems to be a recurring issue on the forums: my form scrolls down/up upon hitting 'next' while filling it out.

    I have investigated multiple forums and I tried countless solutions your staff has proposed users from: place ?nojump; to removing 'onload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)"'; to resizing the height pixels; to removing just thetag; to just using the embed code; and so on and so on.

    So please visit the site, replicate the issue and offer a brand new alternative, because none of the one's I've researched seem to work on the Weebly platform

    Please advise.

    Could you please change Iframe code FROM

     <iframe id="JotFormIFrame-62756794322161" onload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)" allowtransparency="true" src="https://form.jotform.com/62756794322161" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:304px; border:none;" scrolling="no"> </iframe>

    Please let us know if the issue persists even after this changing.

    Hey Rose,

    As I stated in my first email, I've attempted the '?nojump' solutions (as well as various other solutions offered in this jotform forum); so I requested you offered something entirely different as the problem still remains.

    Please do a test with embedding code from the following link to see if that makes any difference.

    Hey Mike,
    Works much better now, however, on the hompage,
    I have two instances of
    the form pasted (one near the top; one near the bottom). Upon
    completing the form, the 'thank you' message appear but it shoots me
    back to the very top of the page at the header; this doesn't occur with
    the bottom copy of the form.

    Also, on mobile - the right margin is narrow, leaving the fields and
    heading/sub-heading text pushed up against the right margin.

    Please advise about these two things. Also, what was the difference in
    the code you changed to get it to work better?

    Also, what was the difference in the code you changed to get it to work better?

    I added the ?nojump parameter and removed the next code from the script.

    case "scrollIntoView":
    iframe.scrollIntoView();
    break;

    Hey Mike,

    I cloned my this form, (new form titled: Jeron Music $1000 Off WEdding From) and made the same alterations you proposed on the thread above (adding ?nojump and removing "scrollintoview" snippet of code) to the iFrame code of the new form, and I'm getting a 404 error here: www.jeronmusic.com/offer

    Pelase advise what I did/did not do in replicating your solution with the original form you succeeded at trouble-shooting.

    Cheers

    Hi,

    I checked your website page and I was able to see and use your form just fine. The 404 error usually meant page does not exists, but it does on this case. See image below.

    Is the issue still happening at this time? Please try refreshing the browser and try again. Let us know if issue remains.
