How many columns does this support or load? If I have roughly 1,000 columns worth of data, would it load it for all the columns?

    Hi oir,

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. The columns on the Excel file that will be uploaded to the spreadsheet to form widget represents the fields on the form, the number of columns supported in an Excel sheet is 16,384. If you have 1,000 columns, then there should be around 1,000 supported form fields added to the form. There's a limit to the number of fields allowed per form depending on the subscription you currently have. You can check out our pricing page to know more.

    Hi oir,

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. If I understand your question, you'd like to import a spreadsheet made of 1000 columns in a form using the Spreadsheet to form widget, but can you provide with us some details about your purpose and the type of data your spreadsheet represents?

Indeed, as explained in the help page you shared, the Spreadsheet to form widget allows the user to automatically fill out the form fields as soon as the name of these fields are the headers of the spreadsheet's columns.

For instance, in the spreadsheet shown below with three columns, let say we use the first column to be used as the leading data to complete the other fields, so that BT001 will be associated with the values aaaa and 2 for the fields NAME and PRICE respectively, and so on,

we'll have this form to build, choosing the column with header CODZ for the Access code column to fill out the fields named NAME and PRICE:

This implies, on one hand, that you'll need to use as many fields in your form as the number of columns. And, in the other hand, only our Gold plan allows to use up to a thousand fields in a form, as shown in our pricing page.

So, I did a test with a spreadsheet having a thousand columns and three lines with random words and numbers. The spreadsheet looks like this, for the first columns, :

And the last columns being:How many columns does the Spreadsheet to form widget support? Image 4 Screenshot 103

Then, once loaded this spreadsheet to the form with the first column named H as the lead, the fields UQSNPN and TDPELB being the second and the third ones, and the ELEUSA being the last one, column #1001.

The test is successful, the fields being right and displayed instantaneously or so:

Give it a try, and let us know how it goes.
