    Errors when using a custom SMTP Sender Email

    Hello,

    I need that the sender of the email is not noreply but the email address entered by those who compile.

    The email arrives with "Name <noreply@jotform.com>", I nedd Name <name@example.it>.

    How can I do?

    Hi Angelo,

    I understand that you prefer to use your own email address instead of noreply@jotform.com. For that, you should use your own SMTP sender and configure it.

    Firstly, If you want to use your own SMTP, please contact your email hosting provider and ask them for the correct SMTP credentials. Once you have the latest SMTP credentials, simply setup the SMTP for your form using our user guide related your issue.

    I used the same password of the email.

     

    If I send a request from the form comes this email:

    There was an error on your SMTP configuration. Due to that error, our system automatically changed your email sender's address for your form ID 62862883216362 tonoreply@jotform.com to prevent issues arising from your account.

    I have checked with my jotform.com email address SMTP settings, and they worked correctly.

    At this time, it appears that Gmail addresses are the ones that may be having troubles with the SMTP settings.

    I would recommend using SMTP settings of your own domain or site, until the issue is checked and resolved by our developers. Thank you.
