Can't apply early bird calculation to payment total?

Asked by defcon6 on October 17, 2016 at 08:58 AM

I am setting up new registration form for next year.

I can't seem to get the early bird to work. I put in conditions the amount that should be deducted but when I try to do a test registration, it still calculates the full amount without early bird discount.

Is this the case until you put in credit card? I just want to test it first.

This conditional logic that you setup will not deduct the total pricing of your payment field:

Why? This is because your payment field's total price is dependent on the products you have setup on them:

You cannot associate this form calculation widget to your payment field if you setup a payment type to "Sell Products" in payment integration:

You can only associate a form calculation widget to your payment integration's total field IF you will switch payment type to "User Defined Amount" or "Collect Donations":

To learn more about this, you can check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-Pass-a-Calculation-to-a-Payment-Field.

    I hope that helps.
