Can't verify PayPal Pro API

Hi. I can't seem to verify the API details on my PayPal form. I'm sure it verified fine the first time I set up the form, but when I tried it later it wouldn't. I created a new API username with Paypal and entered those new details, and it still won't verify. Am I missing something? Thanks heaps for your help!

Hello Peter, I checked the form where you have used Paypal Pro, Hippity Hopsit PayPal, and confirmed the existing credentials you entered don't work.

I strongly recommend you give it another try by following this complete step by step guide on How-to-Obtain-PayPal-API-Credentials

You will have to remove the existing credentials if you want to generate a new one. Afterwards, copy the new API Username, Password, and Signature generated, then paste it on to your form's Paypal Pro integration wizard.

If you're still getting the same error, please don't hesitate to get back to us.

    Hi …
I’ve created a new API Username at PayPal and have entered the new credentials … still get the unable to verify message?
    I’m using Safari - Version 10.0 (12602.1.50.0.10)
Have also tired in the latest version of Chrome, JotForm won’t work for me in Firefox (when I’m in the editor and click on the “magic wand - wizard” icon it does nothing at all. BTW I’ve tried all the re-setting tips with Firefox to no avail?).
    Thanks heaps …

    Hello Peter,

Can you check your new API username, password and signature if they are correct? It seems that they are incorrect resulting to the error. It would also be great if you can check your Paypal account's status if there are limits set such as having an unverified account.

    Thanks.

    Hello …
I have double checked all the API credentials from my PayPal account. Like I said, the first time I created the API signature it verified fine.
It’s only when I double checked again, that the Unable to Verify message came up.
Attached is a screenshot to show the account has been verified.
I’m really not sure what the issue is?
    Thanks …
    Peter

OK I think I’ve got it.
PayPal Pro doesn’t work in New Zealand or Australia!
Strange that they let me set it all up, and I’m still sure I got the green verified message when I first set up the PayPal pro?
    Thanks for your help …

The PayPal Pro verification is supposed to work based on a reply from the PayPal system, so I am not sure how that worked in the first place if the service is not available for merchants from the New Zealand. I see that you have switched to the PayPal Standard which should work without issues.
