How can I change the Page Title of a form?Asked by BanjosMom on October 17, 2016 at 11:03 PM
When you replied to the other thread I assume you're also referring to the Page Title shown on the browser tab when viewing a form.
This is not something browser-dependent. The only reason why the other user mentioned a different browser was because he can't load the PREFERENCES wizard on the browser he's using, Waterfox.
The PREFERENCES wizard should open on all modern browsers (e.g. be it Firefox, Chrome, etc.). To ensure we're referring to the same thing, this is what was being discussed on the other thread:
This is an ongoing issue with cloned forms, and I wish you would fix it so it works properly on all platforms.
There's no issue per se, when you clone a form, you'd have to update the Page Title on that cloned copy, and this is not browser-specific.
However, if you're still having issues opening the PREFERENCES wizard as shown on the image above, kindly share us a screenshot as well, here's how, on how it looks like from your end.
I'm not sure why but I don't see your reply on this thread. Good thing I received it on my email so I'll just paste your reply here to avoid confusion:
Okay. Thanks for the quick response.
Unfortunately, my Advanced Preferences do not show those options. I get this:
I am open to suggestion. Thanks.
Click the SHOW MORE button at the bottom of the screenshot you sent us and that will show the PAGE TITLE option.
Here's a short clip that better explains it:
This was also mentioned on the guide I linked on my first reply. Here it is in case you need further details: How-to-Change-the-Form-Title-Shown-in-the-Browser-Page-Tab
