Please review this user guide:
How-to-Pass-a-Form-s-Calculated-Value-to-another-Form-s-Payment-Total-Field
its a bit complex but it should work.
You can test the demo form https://form.jotformpro.com/form/41004751066950? that was created following the user guide.
Let us know if you need further assistance.

Hi Amy,
I checked your published form https://www.jotform.us/form/62857522795166 on your website here.
I see the form have payment option using the Authorize.Net payment tool.
Can you please describe more what else you need the form have to do after payment submission.
We will look for the solution once we have a clearer understanding of the process you wanted to do.
Thanks.

Yes, is there a recommended way that we run discounts on merchandise over a short time period.
I will be offering a 15% discount for all purchases over the coming weekend. I would like to know the easiest way to configure my online payment page in order to accommodate this sale.
Thank you.

The easiest way I see to do this on your form https://www.jotform.us/form/62857522795166 is to add Coupon code discount with date expiration limit.

User guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/233-How-To-Add-Coupon-Code-in-the-Payment-Form
You can provide to your users the coupon code so they can apply it.
Let us know if this option will not work for you.
Thanks.
