Is it possible to charge users on a later date?Asked by Mark Scrimenti on October 20, 2016 at 05:49 PM
Hello! My name is Mark Scrimenti. I work the Yosemite Conservancy in Yosemite National Park. We are looking to apply Jotform to the reservation process for one of our ski huts. We have a few questions: (1) First, due to the demand for the hut, we process applications in the beginning of the season by lottery. This means that the applications would be submitted with payment information, but would need to be charged at a later date. Would it be possible to do this? We would need to remain PCI compliant of course.(2) Second, we are wondering if we can set up a system with different payment rates for specific users (i.e. members or donors), as well as different payment rates for weekend and weekday reservations.(3) Finally, we are wondering if the reservable dates can be displayed in a calendar view.
5. Credit Card Processing. Our integrations with 3rd party payment gateways are processing only. We do not store or log any sensitive cardholder data provided by you or your form users. We follow industry standard best practices to protect security of cardholder data during processing and transmission. We are certified as a PCI DSS Level 2 Compliant Service Provider. We perform annual audits to ensure our handling of your credit card information aligns with industry guidelines.
Now, regarding to capture the payment and charge your customer on a later date, this can be indeed achieved with JotForm, on the guide below you will find the payment integrations that will allow to do this and how to do it:
