i have several form collapse fields.
i press submit, and there are required fields that are not entered, in two different sections.
however, only one form collapse field lights up red and shows that there are required fields missing
another collapse field does not light up, so there's no way for the user to know where the missing data is.
for example, if i enter nothing, and go to the place order section, then check yes and click on pay now,
only the Your Info collapse field lights up red, the delivery section, that has required fields, does not light up red.

It seems you form is not yet completed. I checked it, and found that the width does not match yet the size of the fields, this make them unviewable, and some questions are not yet properly set. (still the default Click to edit...)
A proper design or re-design of the form can make logical issues go away.
Please update us once you have completed your form properly and we will assist you along the way.

making the fields smaller did not fix the problem.
the issues you mention do not relate to the problem.
the form still properly lights up unfilled required fields as red
but the "collapse form" field does not light up red

seems to be working now.
not sure why.
i did remove a field from the offending section
and reinserted, and it works fine now.
