    Why aren't my results from the matrix field showing on my notifications?

    Hey Jotform Family,


    I created a form using the matrix (survey field) tab and the results aren't showing up on my notifications email? Please help.

    Hello WeavexPert,

    I checked your email notification and the template variable for the matrix is not correct. If you have modified previously the contents of your email notification, and then modified your field label question, that would be a cause for your email notification to not update anymore.

    You can correct the template variable for the matrix field by editing your email notification settings and doing the following steps:

    1. On the body of the email notification, place your cursor or remove the {whichOne} template variable. Ensure that the cursor is still set on the area where {whichOne} is/was.

    2. Click Form Fields on the tool bar > What would you like to purchase?, this should add a new template variable.

    3. Save your email notification settings.


    After making the changes, the results from the matrix should now appear.
