If an invalid date is entered in a DateTime field, an error message is shown. So it's ment to be.
How ever, if a new valid date is entered by using the pop-up calendar, then the error message is still shown. This causes the user to believe that a valid date is actually invalid.

I have tried reproducing the error you are describing, but it seems to be working fine from what I'm seeing.
I have entered an incorrect date, and received the error that the date is invalid. I have then used the popup calendar to change the date, and the error went away.
Please see the following screen recording of the test:
Please note that the validation is performed as the user navigates to or from a field, which means that the user must click outside the field for the validation to check again whether the date is valid or not.
If the issue persists, please provide the exact steps we need to perform in order to replicate it, and we'll be happy to check and assist you.
