    Hey JotForm Support!

Is it possible to use a spreadsheet (either Excel or Google Sheets) to conditionally and automatically fill data in a specific field?

I'm using my form to as a means of collecting internal data. Ideally I would like then when a customer fills in the Product # field (Red) that the Product Description field (Blue) automatically fills. I have a few hundred descriptions, so  using the conditions menu doesn't seem like a good option.

I have a spreadsheet that lists all of the product #'s and the description in different columns.

    Thoughts?

BTW - Really enjoying working with your site so far!

I am glad to know that you are enjoying jotform. Please allow me to inform you that unfortunately it is not possible to populate a form based on data from a spreadsheet when a customer enters a product number. Our forms do not have the ability to query different sources and import data automatically while the user is filling the form.

You would be able to populate fields to your form by using a URL parameters. When a user clicks that url, the form will have the data from the url parameters populated in the form. You can set it up by following our guide here: Prepopulating Fields to Your JotForm via URL Parameters.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
    Regards.
