There’s a lot of sensitive information that we need to collect, including social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, account numbers, and more.  Is the a data encryption to the information that is saved ?

The JotForm pages are loaded over a secure link (HTTPS), our forms and submissions are also transmitted over 256 bit high-grade encryption and we also implement security protection against SQL injection or DOS attacks so the data cannot be affected.

However, you could also increase your security by encrypting your form, this way you will be provided with a key that will be required to access your data, no matter if the data is in your email, but the key will be required, to get more details about encryption, please take a look on this guide: Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them

Regarding to account number, please do note that data such as Credit Card numbers is not allowed on JotForm, if you need to process payments then you will need to integrate one of our current payment gateways, but if you're only looking to collect bank accounts info we could make an exception if you provide a proof that your business requires this info to be collected.

To get more details about this, please take a look to the very detailed reply that our manager provided on this thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/720167
