    Dear Support,

I am close to purchasing a subscription but have a few questions before doing so:

    1. If I integrate my form data with a Google spreadsheet, does JotForm maintain a backup of the data I collect in case the Google spreadsheet becomes corrupt or is deleted?

    2. If yes, and the Google spreadsheet becomes corrupt or is deleted, what are the steps to rebuild or repopulate the form data to a new Google spreadsheet?

    3. What happens to existing form data and the DB or Google spreadsheet if I make form changes?

    4. When will you have iOS or Android support for the Take a Photo feature?

Your swift reply would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    1. If I integrate my form data with a Google spreadsheet, does JotForm maintain a backup of the data I collect in case the Google spreadsheet becomes corrupt or is deleted?

Yes, data is first added to your JotForm account, then sent to integrations.  There will be a backup of the data in your JotForm account.

    2. If yes, and the Google spreadsheet becomes corrupt or is deleted, what are the steps to rebuild or repopulate the form data to a new Google spreadsheet?

All you would need to do is remove the integration and add it back once again.  This takes a few clicks.

    3. What happens to existing form data and the DB or Google spreadsheet if I make form changes?

Forms data is dynamically updated in the spreadsheet.  Any changes to the form will affect the integrated sheet.  For example, deleting a field will remove the field and associated data from your JotForm account, which will then remove the data from the integrated sheet.

    4. When will you have iOS or Android support for the Take a Photo feature?

Due to limitations on what parts of mobile devices can be accessed, features like the take photo widget might be replaced with different functionality.  On Android the take photo widget is replaced with a file upload field since most browsers cannot access the camera directly without major security permissions.  Changes like that are made to ensure most users can use forms on all devices without having to make any changes on their end.
