Hi,
As far as I have understood you just want to calculate the number of pastries in the "pastries" field below. However, when you assign calculation values for the dropdown field in the surveying tab it no longer gives the number output.
I mean you want the total quantity, however quantity values are assigned to the prices by in-field calculation values:
These are the assigned values for quantities. 1 corresponds to 140, 2 corresponds to 280 and etc. If you want the prices to be calculated tough, it is already successfully configured.
Please let me know if I have misunderstood the issue.
For the second screenshot you attached I could not see what the issue is. Please provide us further clarifications so that we can investigate the issue better.
We will be waiting for your update.
Thank you for contacting us.

Hi Owen
No you didnt get me well
Let me clarify again
i want to calculate the price of pasteries which i set in the drop down menu as you highlighted above if 1 pirces is 140 if 2 price is 280 and so on, it work well if i choose from the items of pasteries but if i make any changes in the soups after i choose the pasteries (drop down menus above) i found that the value is changed to sum of soups and not pasteries as hown below, output should be 420 however i get 90 which is equal to the two items chosen from soups

Hi there,
I looked at the calculation of your field "pastries".
It seems to be adding all the values from the fields under "soup".
To correct the result, please change the calculation as shown below.
Let us know if you need further assistance.

I see that you changed the Pastries total from a Calculation into a Condition. I checked the field and it seems like this has resolved the issue.
I chose an item from the Pastries, then I updated an item from the Soup field. The Pastries total value remains the same no matter how many times I updated the Soup field.
Can you please check again and confirm if this is the expected behavior that you want to happen in the form?
Please note that the Calculations Wizard that you see on your end is the new design of the Calculation wizard. My calculation wizard is still on the old design version, so it is different from yours.
I will wait for your response.
Thank you. -

I have checked the form you have linked to ( https://form.myjotform.com/61097134175556 ) with the reproduction steps that were provided, and same as my colleagues the calculation field appears to show only the value based on selected pastries, and not the soups.
Here is a screen recording of the form and its calculation:
From my understanding, these are the steps you have mentioned, and the form appears to be working fine in calculating the pastries and omitting the soups.
Can you please opening your form's direct link in a private or incognito window of your browser, and try checking then. I would also recommend testing with a different browser as well. Please let us know how it goes.
