Text Area Field [Rich Text Editor]: HTML code is showing in the Inbox option in My Forms page.

Asked by DPSCommunications on November 18, 2016 at 06:16 PM

    Hello,

When I click on "inbox" to view new submissions, I see HTML for the submission. This hasn't happened before and it's happening with every single submission (so I know it's not a problem with people who are filling out the form). I don't like the "view submissions" inbox under the "more" dropdown because it's not as user friendly or easy to navigate. Here's what I see when I look in the inbox view:

I have checked your form and I can see the problem, this seems to be happening only when you view the submissions on the Inbox option in My Forms page, this also seems to be happening with the Text Area field only and when using the Rich Text editor mode.

I have cloned your form and I can also replicate the problem on my end, I will report this thread to our second level so our developers will investigate and resolve the problem, we will let you know as soon as we receive an update regarding this.

Is there an update on this? The form is still showing the HTML code in the inbox view. Please let me know if this can be fixed soon.

We still have not received updates from our second level, but I have tested your form and I can see the new submissions do not show this error anymore, it is showing with the old submissions only.

Here's also a screenshot about what I can see when I tested your form:

However, I will ask to our second level in order to find if there are updates regarding this and if the old submissions can be corrected.

We will let you know as soon as we get updates regarding this.

Thank you for letting us know about this still being an issue as well as the screenshot.

We do have a developer assigned to look into this problem for you but, as of right now there's no news about this just yet and it may be a little while longer depending on their workload ahead of this particular issue.

Once we know something about it and it's fixed we'll let you know as soon as we can.
