I lost some changes to my form

I was making headway on new changes to my form -

when i clicked on some help within something i don't remember now..  
Friday the 18th.  When i hit back button in my browser - my form went backwards (the changes made for 2 days-gone).

when i try to go back in history it shows the same form that i see now minus all the changes i made thursday and friday.

I remember clicking something that was to learn more about what i was working on and expected "the link" to open a new browser tab like it does in this help forum.  Instead it open the help forum in the same tab- so my form?- it's like it logged me out?  
i use Chrome latest - windows 7

never mind - i found that "history" was the wrong place to look-
it was "Revisions"
