Thank You Page: How to lead the submitter to an external page after the Thank You page is shown

Currently you only offer a stark choice between either a a 'Thank you' message OR a redirect to an URL.

In Adobe Formscentral thare was a better option offered in that it was possible to opt to have BOTH of these options.

I.e you could set a 'thank you' message to be displayed for a selectable time (e.g. xx seconds) and then the user was subsequently automatically redirected to an URL (e.g. Google map)

If this 'double' option was selected in Formscentral it automatically put a message underneath the 'thank you' message stating that the webpage would be redirected in xx seconds

This would be of more use to me, and I suspect, many others?

You can create a custom page that will redirect to some other page in specified time by using JavaScript.

You could just add one more line in Thank you page that says: "Page will redirect in 3 seconds" or something similar.

Thanks – but I really don’t think that this should require JavaScript coding by an end user – it should be a simply clickable option offered within JotForm Form Builder itself as was offered in Adobe Formscentral!

Unfortunately we do not have such feature where users can be redirected to certain page URL from custom thank you page. The only option is to add JavaScript code in your custom thank you page to redirect users after certain time.

I think that it would be an extremely useful feature to add to JotForm for the ‘average’ user and so I would definitely like you to pass it to your ‘backend’ team for consideration of implementation in JotForm Builder.
