Secure Form

    I got an email that my account was going to be shut down today at noon due to the number of secure forms submitted. I didn't make the form "secure"  - i didn't check the box. I don't want my site to be shut down and don't know how it got to be a "secure" form. I have never had this problem in the past and use forms on a monthly baisis. 

     

    Please advise. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi mmarison;

    Your account is on Free account allocated quota of 100 norma submissions, 10 SSL submission and 10 payment submission, whichever gets exhausted first, the account will be disabled. The only solution is to upgrade your account to Premium account to enjoy larger quota allocation or to wait for 1st day of next month when the account resets automatically.You can visit this link for details; http://www.jotform.com/pricing/ 

    Secure forms (SSL submissions) are secure form communications between the client (i.e the end user of your form) & our servers. These communications are encrypted and are useful if any of your forms contain sensitive information such as credit card, payment or data of a personal nature..You get 10 of these a month with Free accounts.  Forms making use of this feature will begin with https:// .

    To change to non-SSL Submissions; You dont edit anything on the form, you need to change your embed links to use non-secure URLs

    e.g http://form.jotform.com instead of https://secure.jotform.com

    Got it, I don't know how I created a secure form instead of a regular form, but I will be aware of that in the future.

    I guess from your response, and my not wanting to upgrade my account at this point, my error will cost me to be locked out of my account until June 1st. This is unfortunate, but I understand that is your policy.

    Thanks for your prompt reply, I will gather all the info I need from my account at this time and wait until June 1st to use your site again if need be.

    We will reset your SSL submission quota in the account for this time only but next time we will not.

    You account has been reset and activated. You can check and verify, it sholud be working fine.
