Klaviyo integrates with all of the major e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce.
Their customers include more than 20,000 e-commerce merchants, including Beardbrand, Rocketbook, Chubbies, Tortuga, and Pixel Empire.
Klaviyo’s pricing is based on the number of contacts and starts at $20 per month for 300 contacts. If you have 10,000 contacts, the price will be $150 per month.
Just like Klaviyo, Drip is another platform that specializes in helping fast-growing e-commerce businesses. Features include powerful reporting, data personalization and segmentation customization, customer behavior-based drip campaigns, split testing, and seamless engagement across many channels, including email, Facebook, and Instagram. They also integrate with hundreds of third-party SaaS apps.
Some of Drip’s customers include Trivago, Universal Audio, Pixel Union, Live Nation, Craft, and Neverbounce.
Their pricing starts at $49 per month for their basic plan with up to 2,500 contacts. However, if you have more than 5,000 contacts, you have to be on their enterprise plan.
Keap, formerly InfusionSoft, is CRM and marketing automation software specifically for small businesses. Many of the companies that use Keap sell info products, coaching, or consulting services or have affiliate programs.
Some of their core features include a powerful email/marketing campaign builder, landing page templates, email segmentation, built-in lead scoring, follow-up message templates, and the ability to send invoices and reminders within the platform.
Their pricing starts at $39 per month; however, according to reviews on Capterra and other sites, most customers end up spending thousands of dollars learning how to use and customize Keap to their specific business needs.
HubSpot is designed to be an easier-to-use alternative to Salesforce for fast-growing startups and tech companies. They offer a similar suite of products, including CRM, sales, and support hubs. Some of the key features of HubSpot Marketing Hub include a drag-and-drop landing page builder, custom email templates, ad integrations, signup forms, advanced tracking, and robust reporting and dashboard features.
HubSpot Marketing Hub customers include Suzuki, Care.com, Airstream, Trello, and the University of Southern California.
While they offer a $50-per-month plan, it’s limited to 1,000 contacts. Most businesses will need to pay at least $800 per month, which is still considerably cheaper than Pardot or a full Salesforce build-out.
Pardot is Salesforce’s B2B marketing automation product. One of the main advantages of using Pardot is that it integrates with the full ecosystem of Salesforce’s products. Pardot includes streamlined lead management; Pardot Einstein (their AI bot); robust analytics features and dashboards; built-in landing pages; and customizable signup forms and search and social media tools.
Many big-name brands use Pardot, including Amazon, Intelex, Fundbox, Ticketmaster, Stanley Black & Decker, and RxBar.
They’re also the most expensive option on our list, with pricing starting at $1,250 per month for up to 10,000 contacts. However, if you want to take advantage of all of their artificial intelligence features, you’ll end up paying at least $4,000 per month.
These five alternatives to ActiveCampaign are worth looking into. While they all have marketing automation and email marketing functionality, some platforms are more geared toward e-commerce companies, while others are geared toward fast-growing startups or mid-market companies.
