How to Install Jotform to Your Shopify Store

Jotform Form Builder lets you create and publish forms directly on your Shopify store. After installing and connecting the app, you can create a form, customize its fields and appearance, choose how and where it appears on your store, and publish it for your customers to access.

In this guide, we’ll cover:

• Installing the Jotform Form Builder
• Creating Your First Form
• Publishing Your Form

Installing Jotform Form Builder 

First, install the Jotform Form Builder app on your Shopify store and connect your Jotform account. Here’s how:

1. Log in to your Shopify Store account, and then go to the Jotform – Form Builder and click on Install on the left side of the page.

2. Then, in the new tab that opens, review the requested permissions in the Install App window, and then click on Install.

3. Next, click on Connect.

4. Now, in the window that opens, review the requested permissions and click on Allow.

That’s it! You’ve successfully installed Jotform Form Builder on your Shopify store and are ready to start creating forms. 

Creating Your First Form

Once you’ve installed and connected the app, you can create your first form from the My Forms page. This is how it’s done:

1. In Jotform-Form Builder, click on My Forms in the menu on the left side of the page.

2. Then, at the center of the page, click on Create Form.

3. Now, in the Describe the Form You Need section, enter the description of the form you want to create, and then click on Create Form.
4. To use a pre-built form, in the Templates section, select a template, and then click on Use Template.

Once your form is created, you’ll be taken to the Publish Form page, where you can choose how to display your form.

Publishing Your Form 

Once your form is ready, you can configure how and where you want it to appear on your Shopify store. Here’s how to get going:

1. In the menu on the left of your Publish Form page, configure these things:
   • Form Display — Choose how and where the form is displayed in your store:
     • Inline Section — Embed the form directly into a page or section of your store.
     • Popup Modal — Display the form in a popup when customers click a button on your store.
     • Floating Button — Let customers open the form using a floating button displayed on your store.
   • Location Type — Select the type of store page where you want to display the form.

2. Then, scroll down and continue configuring these settings: 
   • Thank You Message — Customize what customers see after submitting your form.
     • Show Thank You message — Display a thank-you message after customers submit the form.
     • Redirect to a Page — Redirect customers to another page after they submit the form.
     • Advanced Settings — Click on it to open the Form Design Studio, where you can customize the appearance of your form using the available design options. 

3. Next, scroll up and then click on Publish at the top-right side of the page. 

4. Now, in the Shopify Theme Editor, review the form placement and in the top-right corner of the page, click on Save.

That’s it! Your form is now ready to publish on your Shopify store, making it easy for customers to access and fill it out.
