How to have multiple donation options inside of Paypal

Is the only option for a donation form to have a write-in amount? We want to list a series of amounts and give an "other" option. When I try and set up the PayPal integration and call it a donation, I seem to only get a box for people to write in their amount. If I set it as a regular payment then I have to list a product name for each amount, right? And I feel like that looks silly. I'd like to just list the amount, is there a way to do this? Thanks!

Unfortunately inside of Paypal donation it is only possible to use text box where users can enter amount they want to donate.

Possible workaround would be to create Multiple Payment form:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/182-How-to-Create-a-Basic-Multiple-Payment-form

I can suggest is to use 2 or more forms (as many as you need) for your donation options. And then use another form (to condition which donation to display using html embedding), or use code on your website so that when the user selects which type of donation wishes to make, the correct form is shown.

This way you can keep the tax option on within Paypal and you could also use multiple donation options.

This way you will have few forms embedded inside of one form and then depending of which donation option your users choose they will be redirected to different form.

Then you need to set hide/show conditional logic to show which payment form will he shown.

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

This is MUCH too complicated of a solution.  I am trying to do the same thing sarasjcc is attempting and I would have thought that JotForm could at least provide the option of not having to put a product name, and just allow a product price, in the Product Details option.

Actually the easiest way to pass some custom donation amount would be to pass the value from From Calculation to the PayPal (or other payment processor) integration instead.

You can do that quite simply by following the steps here: How to pass a calculation to a payment field

It would allow you to capture the value from the dropdown or to allow your users to select the value from a checkbox or radio button. In the end it gets passed to PayPal to be charged as a donation.

I posted this here for anyone else that finds this thread to see, but would like to ask you @mhaw to open your own thread if you have any additional questions or require any assistance and we would be happy to assist.

If you wish, you can always reference back this thread ( http://www.jotform.com/answers/569239 ) on your new thread.
