Purchase Order Integration: Ability to customize the content submitted in email.

    Hello,

I created a form to collect purchase orders in French.  On the email confirmation that users received after they completed the form, is there a way to manage how the Purchase order field is displayed?  Look at the attached field for more details.

Since, we are working with French users, is there a way to translate "Amount" to "Montant"?  If not, could we remove it all together as it's repeated on each product line and make the confirmation email too cluttered?  "30.50 CAD" can be understand by anyone without the word "Amount:" in front of it.

Also, we have some items free, is there a way to remove "Amount: 0.00 CAD"?  Or at least, put "Free" or "Gratuit" in French.

I understand that Jotform is used in many countries.  Instead to have "CAD" for Canadian dollars, could we used only the dollar sign "$"?

    Thanks,

    Martin

I have checked on my end and seems like the text in the payment field can be translate:

Here's a guide where you will find more details about how a form can be translated: How-to-Make-your-Forms-Multilingual

However, this is not included in the email notification, I mean, the form will be submitted in the original language it was created.

So far you cannot edit the content in the payment field for the purchase order integration, but I will forward this thread to our second level as a feature request, although we cannot provide an ETA or ensure if it will be available we will let you know as soon as we get updates regarding this.

    Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your answer.  I tried that but this is not what I was looking.  The default language of my form is French but why do I get Free, Price (English names in my French form)?  How can I translate "Price" (set in French) to "Prix (the correct French translation).

On your reply, you display the translation form to English, I don't want my form to be translated in English, I want to fix incorrect English word in my French form such as Price -> Prix, Free -> Gratuit.  Can you tell me a way to do it?

Also, could you answer this additional question on my original message?

I understand that Jotform is used in many countries.  Instead to have "CAD" for Canadian dollars, could we used only the dollar sign "$"?

    Thanks,

    Martin

The words FREE and PRICE appear by default even though the form was setup in French originally, because it appears that there is no translation in our database for those words. My colleague has reported it to our back-end team, so they can update those words in French language.

On regards of the dollar sign, simply go to your purchase order settings, and change from Canadian Dollar to United States Dollar:

Open a new thread if you need anything else, we will be glad to assist you.

Thanks BDavid.  This is explain the issue...  If you can, let me know when this is fixed. If not, I should see the change in my form directly when those two names will be updated in your database.

    Have a great week-end, Martin
