Good morning, thank you for the rich content!

I wonder if it is possible to add values to lines that already have records?

I want to feed a whole new column, which was added later to my form, importing only the values from that column!

    Hi Adefe,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If I understand your question correctly, you'd like to add values to the existing submission records. You can do it and add it directly in the Submission Table. Let me show you how:

    1. In Submission Table, right click in one of the fields.
    2. Choose Insert column left.Add new values to the submission record Image 1 Screenshot 60
    3. Select Short Text. Add new values to the submission record Image 2 Screenshot 71
    4. Click on Next button.Add new values to the submission record Image 3 Screenshot 82
    5. Input the name and click on Create column.Add new values to the submission record Image 4 Screenshot 93
    6. You can input the data.Add new values to the submission record Image 5 Screenshot 104

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

Once we have a better idea of what’s going on, we’ll be able to come up with a solution.

Thank you for your attention. But I've already done that. What I want is to add several values in one column at once! (to vary lines) As in excel. copy and paste vary rows into a column.

    Hi Adefe,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Are you referring to copying and pasting raws 1,2,3 directly into the submission tables columns? Unfortunately, it is not possible to copy and paste entire columns into the submission tables.

As a workaround what you can do is first download the submissions in an Excel file, manually add the column you want and then import the Excel sheet into Jotform Tables. Let me show you how to import the file in tables:

    • Go to your My Tables page and click on Create Table on the top-left side of the page.
    • In the window that opens up, click on Import Data.
    • Click on Choose a File From Your Device and then choose your file.

    • Click on Import Data.
    • Choose the Column Type, click on Complete, and you're done.
