This is the second time I have had difficulties with JotForm. I lost my first form or could not find it anywhere in the program. The save icon in the menu was running continuously and never stopped. In order to even post a question, I was forced to leave my form page? this is not a good idea for me as now I don't know if I will get it back.
The JotForm format is neither very clear nor user-friendly and one should easily be able to switch from edit/save/preview/test/publish (like any other online template). I have put hours into preparing my first form and now starting over a second time. I have a website to launch asap and these problems with JetForm are killing me!
I would appreciate your advice in resolving these problems but I am really ready to move on to another form builder program.

I tested with a few of my own forms and was able to save changes without issue. I checked in your account and there are three forms readily available:
Two of which are of the same name. Is one of those the missing form? Those forms can be found in the "My Forms" section of your account:
Forms should be saved automatically periodically. If the form does not allow for saving, it likely means your browser session has been cleared or timed out. This should not occur while editing forms, however, if the browser is left idle for a lengthy period of time, timing out could occur.
I would recommend saving every so often to ensure your progress is updated properly. If at any point you lose changes that have been saved, it is possible to revert the form to a previously saved state using your revision history:
