What's the best way to implement a save capability to allow future editing? I'd like my users to have the ability to do additional editing on a form they've filled out? - both BEFORE or AFTER they've clicked on the submit button

    Before submission

We have 2 ways of saving the form and continuing it later. Please check these guides:

How to Enable Auto Fill Feature - https://www.jotform.com/help/227-How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-on-Forms

How to Save Forms to Continue Later - https://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-and-Continue-Later

Please take note that the Auto-fill feature will save the data in the local browser, so it is only possible for the form to be continued on the same computer and same browser.

    After submission

You can provide them the Edit Submission Link so that they can update their existing submission. Here's an example of an edit link: https://www.jotform.com/edit/353303246922134929

You just need the URL (https://www.jotform.com/edit/) and then the (submission ID). The submission ID can be found in the Submissions page. Here's how:

You may also include this link in the auto-responder emails. Please refer to this guide: How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.
