Prevent subusers from deleting Form Submissions

Hello-

We are a new JotForm customer. I am pretty blown away by the quality of the product! Congrats on the 4.0 release - I was trying to edit a form on a plane last week and as you might imagine, it didn't go so well :-).

One of our team members accesses the data to input it into other systems (I'm working on a direct integration, but until then....).

My question: Is it possible to limit the ability to DELETE submissions?

Right now, it's not clear to me that we can grant access to the submission page with anything other than full privileges. In particular, the "Delete All" button is terrifying!

Hey John, I'm afraid a subuser is capable of deleting form submissions once you have enabled the View Submission privilege.

What I can do is elevate your thread as a feature request so subusers can only view submissions and prevent them from deleting any. Please keep in mind that there's no assurance whether this will be implemented or not. It will highly depend on the viability of the feature, the amount of similar requests we get, along with the workload of our Developers.

We can't give you any timeframe but we'll keep you apprised on this same thread if/when there's an update.

In the interim, if you're really concerned about accidental deletion, remove the View Submission privilege from your subusers and instead, share your Form Submission data with them in a different way.

You may use reports and share the URLs to your subuser. The HTML Table and Grid Listing reports are good options.

You may also export your submission data instead if you wish to share it with others.

Thanks for the response. I did stumble upon the "How to Share Forms" article and it works pretty well for our use case. What would be ideal, though, is view/edit capability that prevents delete (and, in particular, removes the frightening "Delete All" button! 8-O!)
