How do you save the edit in submissions?

Once you load the submission on edit mode, you will need to click on the submit button after you have edit it, so the edited submission will be saved in your account: https://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-View-Form-Submissions

I did submit it and it emailed me the EDIT version but the field I edited did not show any information just blank now.   FYI

That's really ok because I wanted it correct in the submissions for the excel file.
