Why I'm getting a message "You have reached your Jotform API LIMIT"

    Good morning. 

    I am getting very often during the week a message with this

    message "You have reached your Jotform API LIMIT" . 


    Can you please check with my account ? 


    I am sure i haven't and perhaps this could be a bug ?


    I have tested the online forms and i get to receive email correctly after

    submitting on any of our forms.

    Hello Jim,

    API limit can be reached if you're using widgets or applications that required API calls. You can check all API applications that use API calls here: https://support.jotform.com/myaccount/api

    You're on a Free plan which means that you have a limit of 1000 API calls per day. That limit resets each day. More about API and API limits you can find here: https://www.jotform.com/help/406-Daily-API-Call-Limits

    Well i am not sure if i am using any widgets on my forms. I think i am not. 

    Could it be perhaps the android app that i have installed on my device ?

    I am getting this email notification almost every 2 days. 


    How is it possible for the api limit to be reached in a whole day ?

    I do now recall i used a widget so i can display on my official twitter profile

    a status on when a customer makes a new submission. 


    I cannot recall the name of this widget tho.

    As per the given guide, the mobile app will also trigger the use of the API limit. If you have the Android app installed on your phone, then that could be the reason. You may consider stopping the auto sync function for the app. 

    Settings > Sync frequency: Set it to Never:
