Is there a way to change the way the appointment date is being shown in the submission?
I currently get something like this:
Thursday, May 09, 2024 6:00 PM - 6:15 PM
I there a way change the style to: 09/05/2024 for example? Thanks.

Hi George,
Thanks for contacting Jotform Support. Are you referring to the appointment field and how the submission appears on the submission page for that appointment field?
Please check and let us know and also provide us the form URL also which you are working on.

Hi Girish,
That's exactly what I was referring to(same as in your printscreen). The way the date is shown on the submission form.
I want to extract all the data of my submissions into google sheets and I'm stuggling when trying to sort everything by the "appointment date". It seems like this format of date is not recognized in google sheets.

Hi George,
Thanks for getting back to us. I tested the integration and the date format of the appointment field in the submission table matched the format in the integrated Google Sheets file.
Here's the format in the table:
Here's the format in Google Sheets:
Can you tell us what format you want it to be?
Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

Hi Gian,
Thank you for your answer. That's what I also get. Please see attached:
The issue that I have is that this format doesn't seems to be recognized as a "date" format. Because of this, when I try to sort this list by the most recent date this is what I get:
If I could change the format the date is being shown on the submission form to something like "dd/mm/yyyy" or another format that would be recognized by google sheets as a "date format" then I should be able to sort the list by the most recent date.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Many thanks,
George

Hi George,
To achieve this, we can add the Date Picker element to your form. Once the Appointment field is filled, we will pass the value to the Date Picker element. I can walk you through setting that up:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
- Under the Basic tab, drag and drop the Date Picker element to your form. Note that you can hide the Date Picker if you want to.
- While you're in Form Builder, click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top.
- Select Conditions on the left side of the screen.
- Select Update/Calculate Field from the options.
- Set the conditions just like you see below.
- Finally, click on Save.
Here's a screenshot of the result:
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
