I want single optin post to mailchimp

Hi, I would like to create a single opt-in workflow into a Mailchimp list. I want my client to be able to pass form data so it creates a new subscriber into my Mailchimp list so my automation will trigger a confirmation email when a new subscriber is added to that list. 

Ideally, I'd like to create a form in JotForm (just like I would in Mailchimp); give my client the URL of the form (just like Mailchimp); have my client pass form data from his form into my mailchimp list...but instead of passing it directly into my mailchimp list; pass it into JotForm and with JotForm's integration with Mailchimp, the form data is added to the Mailchimp list.

I have a customer with his own registration form. I want him to pass submitted form data into JotForm and into my mailchimp list. Is that possible?

Yes that is possible through Prepopulate utility http://prepopulate.jotform.io/

You can get the URL generated with the utility and then submit that url with the dynamic values  from your own registration form (non-Jotform) to Jotform form

Ok but how will Jotform know to submit that to MailChimp? What will trigger the submit?

The only way to send data from JotFrm Form to Mailchimp is to actually submit the form. The submit button will trigger the sending of data.
