We received an SMTP error and our sender changed back to Jotform, causing the recurring problem of not all notifications being received.

I have changed it back to our server, but why did the SMTP change and what can we do to prevent this

    in the future?

Also, why do we have inconsistent notifications when you use your server???

The reason our system automatically changed your smtp setup is because it found a problem with your email such as being flagged, rejected or the smtp configuration possibly that you were using so it was changed over to prevent issues with your emails arriving this way you would continue to receive them.

You may want to start by checking your smtp setup to see if it's configured properly and then also check with your network administrator or provider to check if there's any issues with that.

You can also take a look at your email history to figure out what happened and see a log of the outgoing emails for your forms to help you figure out if something went wrong.
