    Why I'm receiving duplicated submissions?

    We seem to be having issues with a few of our contact form hosted with Jotform where submission are being sent multiple times.

    We have a form set up called: hindle-c&c - contact form

    The form has had the same email submitted 4 times, on different days. We're confident its not the customer refreshing or re-submitting, as the form submittion happened 4 days apart.

    We have also had it on a completely separate form.

    Can this be looked into please as it obviously has an effect on our monthly limit, but more urgently it doesnt look professional for our clients.

    Hi Ben, 

    Can you please explain what you mean when you say you had it on completely separate forms? As I'm not sure I understand this. If you received submissions on two different forms that doesn't mean they're duplicate.

    Hey there

    Apologies, I meant that the duplication error is happening on more than one form. So on the form: hindle-c&c - contact form, that has had the same message come through 4 separate times, across 2 different dates.

    Then we had the same type of error on a different form, on the form: Viking Tapes Printed Tape Enquiry Form, we had a submission come through multiple times on the 26th APR.

    I checked your submissions and I see the duplicates you're mentioning. I must say that they look like just repeated submits since they came from the same user from the same IP address. I couldn't see other reason. What usually happens is if the form is embedded, and user submits it, then they tend to click back button in the Browser which submits the form again, but time-frame of your submissions is different so not sure if that's the case.

    What I could suggest is to enable unique submissions in the form and see if the problem re-appears, here is how to do that: https://www.jotform.com/help/64-How-to-Set-Unique-Submissions-on-a-Form
