    How to track my form responses easier?

    I am using jotform for selling my seo services,  Now when my clients place orders, I can see them , but when the order is completed , I want to respond to them with the download link and that response need to be tracked in the same thread (form) itself so that if client come back and ask for the report again for the submitted form , I can track it easily.

     

    Is there a way to achieve this.

    You need to create an Autoresponder Email that includes the tracking link so that when the user clicks the link, you will receive the submission ID.

    Plese see the instructions below on how to achieve your requirement:

    1. Add a Hidden Box Widget on your form and label it as "ID".

    2. Create an Autoresponder Email. Please refer to this guide: Setting Up an Autoresponder Email.

    Get the URL of your form and append "?ID={id}" to the URL.

    For example:  https://www.jotform.com/71411447104950?ID={id}

     

    3. Add the link to the Autoresponder Email so that when the user clicks the link, you will receive the submission ID that you will look upon the Submission Page for tracking.

    Highlight the link and click on the Insert/Edit link and add the link to the URL.

    Thanks for the details. I guess there is a confusion in my initial question.

     

    In fact I don't have big trouble in finding the submitted forms by my clients. Question here is, when I respond to the submitted forms by clients, say I respond to a form submitted with my final reports , email is send to the client. But that response is not stored or attached anywhere and there is no way to see that response later in the form. If the response which I send is also stored below the form it would be easy to track.

     

    I guess I am able to convey by question now.

    Hello,

    As far as I understand, you want to store your email responses related to the autoresponder emails of your forms in your JotForm account. Unfortunately, this is not possible.

    Maybe, you can save and track these answers in your email folders. As I see, you're using Gmail as your recipient email address. You can organize your Gmail as you can see in the following guide: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/118708?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en
