Can we retrieve and resend data availed to us back to our clients for updating and or additional information?

Initially we are looking to gain basic information from a client as an initial meeting/ sales tool but then if we are proceeding with an application we will need more information so are hoping to be able retrieve the initial information and send back to the client for validation/ variation/ updating etc and then gaining additional information. Ideally we would like the client (or ourselves) to have to re-enter data already provided.

If I'm understanding your concern correctly, you would like your respondents to have the ability to edit/update their previous submission. In that case, I would suggest you follow the instruction in this guide: How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date

If you would like to edit your client's submission data, you can do that on the form's submission page.
