    1. We need to segregate the data that was already submitted vs. the new data. How do we go about doing this?

    2.

Is there a way we can put a limit on edits a user makes for a particular submission? I.E. they submit a form about an event they would like to have and edits one time they want the event location in florida, edits again location in Maryland, edits again location in New York. How do we set a limit to edits to cut them off?

Just to be clear, editing submission data will not create new submission data.

New form submissions will add new record in the submission data. Editing will not.

    User guide: How-to-View-Form-Submissions

I think what you meant to ask was "How to segregate edited submissions vs. new submissions not edited." What you can try is to add "status" flag on the submission data of your form.

Refer to our user guide : How-to-assign-a-status-to-submissions

Let us know if you need further assistance on this.

The 2nd question was about a different feature. We will resolve it on its own thread here
