How long can users go back to a form and make edits

We have enabled the ability for users to go back and edit forms at a later date.  We just want to clarify a few things with regards to returning to forms to make edits and continue adding information.

    1. So as far as we can tell, the forms auto save as the users go through to make changes.  If someone walks away but has the link to go back and make edits, they should be able to access their form and it should have saved the information up to that point, correct?  Can they do this at anytime in the future or is there a limit on how long they can access and edit the form.

    2. Once the user actually submits the form, can they still go back and make edits as needed to the form?  Is there a duration on that timeframe or can they edit at any time in the future?

Thank you for the clarification.  We have a VERY large form that may take users many months to complete, we want to ensure this works as intended and no one loses information!

As long as the form is available, and user can access the edit form link, the user can access the edit link and make submissions to the form again. There is no limit on how long the data will be stored but as long as the form is available then user can make changes to their submissions at any time.

Below are guides on how you can edit submission as a user and as a form owner.

I hope the above answers both questions. Kindly feel free to let us know if you need further information.
