Card Form>PayPal Business Integration: Stuck on 'Please wait' when PayPal is conditionally hidden.

    Hi there, in testing a form the submit button has not been functioning as intended, stuck on please wait upon clicking, as per the attached screenshots (both of which have had the cache cleared prior to attempting to submit).

    Appreciate any assistance you can provide

    Hi nswcusa,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I was replicate the issue on a clone version. Upon further checking, it looks like the issue has something to do with several conditions you've set in your form. I was able to make it work by removing the Payment Methods from the Show/Hide condition.

    You're already hiding the Training Course Fee, so you don't need to incorporate the Payment Methods in the condition. By default, that will only show if the Training Course Fee Payment Integration is available in the form.

    Thanks for your help Lorenz, I have removed the Payment Method from the conditions as suggested, but in testing one of the paths that the Training Course Fee is hidden from, I am then prompted to enter payment information without having added anything to my basket before I can submit, as per the below screenshot, is there something else out of place?

    Thanks for your help Lorenz, I believe the issue is happening on each condition, but for example if I select gender as Female as in condition #7 - I am taken to the above screen.

    I've cleared your form cache as this helps fix temporary issues. Can you go ahead and try it again and let us know how it goes? If the same thing happens again, we'll investigate it more to see if we can figure out what's going on.

    Hi Israel, your screencast shows the same issue I've been experiencing. People following the certain conditions such as the one followed shouldn't be prompted to provide any payment information, as the registration is free for these individuals.

    Thanks for getting back to us. You would need to also select to hide the Payment method option on your conditional logic for each gender to hide the payment method option when a Gender is selected.     You also have the option to disable all conditional logic for Gender and setup a condition to hide the Training Course Fee and Payment method if the Gender element is filled.

    Hi Rhina, thanks for your reply - I was told by Lorenz earlier in the thread to remove the Payment method from the condition to resolve the original problem of the submit button not working?

    Thanks for getting back to us. Please follow the suggestion of my colleague Rhia which is to add the Payment Field to the hide/show conditions. Then, if the issue persists, please add the conditions to not require the hidden product list field is a certain condition is met. The issue could have been caused by the hidden required payment. Here's an example condition to use:

    Sorry if I'm missing something here?

    I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. Upon doing multiple trial and errors, it looks like the issue is with the PayPal Business Integration itself, when it gets hidden conditionally. Also, it seems like the issue happens on Card Form layout only. I've gone ahead and escalated this to our Developers so they can check. Once we hear back from them, we'll circle back to you on this thread and let you know.

    As an alternative, you may consider using PayPal Checkout Integration for the meantime. I tested and it works perfectly with the show/hide condition. Just make sure you update the conditions again after switching Payment Integration to PayPal Checkout.
