I had someone submit a payment through my JotForm and I have not seen that come through via Square. It was 8 hours ago. How long does it take to make that transaction?

If the transaction was submitted when the form was integrated in a Test Mode, this is normal that a test transaction is not reflected in your Square account.
However, the Live Mode transactions are supposed to be reflected in your Square account. If this is the case, I would like to suggest contacting the Square support with the Transaction ID (you can get it from submissions page) to investigate this further.
