What if a free JotForm campaign exceeds the free limit?

I read that if you have a lower plan and exceed the limits, you get the chance to upgrade, but how does it work if you have the free plan and go over? Can you subscribe without disrupting the responses?

If you exceed an account limit, the account will be in Overlimit Status which will prevent it from receiving any further submissions anymore.
