Quantity Selector Range with 0

I have built several fundraising forms successfully but I am now having issues. I am noticing that even previously working forms are now having problems with the quantity field.

I sell items through schools and several families will order the same product in different sizes. However now when I test one of my older forms, I am getting an error message (that seems to be linking directly to the quantity field). In addition to the error message, the quantity field is now being forced to be "1" which will be very confusing for my customers. How do I remove that? How do I fix this issue?

    Hi Kristen,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the default range quantity can no longer be set to 0. If you have forms with range quantities from 0 to 10, they will remain, but once updated, they cannot be changed to 0. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

Quantity Selector Range with 0 Image 1 Screenshot 20 This was a recent change to avoid submitting the required products without being unselected. However, as long as the product is not selected, even if it displays the quantity to 1, it will not be included in the total unless its checkbox is checked.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

I understand that part, but are the customers seeing a "1" in all of the items or is it blank like your screencast? On MY end, it shows as a one and I simply cannot have that, as it would be too confusing for customers. They will think they are ordering one item for everything.

The other bigger issue is that the second I hit one of the products (to open up to order), I immediately get an error message. The page turns pink and at the top it states There is 1 error on this page. Please correct it before moving on.

That is also confusing. Just to open up the sizing should not give an error message. I just closed this sale and did not have this problem. However I was looking to clone it for a new fundraiser opening in a few days.

    Hi Kristen,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

Can you go ahead and try it again and let us know how it goes? If the same thing happens again, can you send us some screenshots of what’s happening? This guide will show you how to do that. As for your other question, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

I'm having the same issue. I used the 0 as an option when people changed their minds when ordering (we don't take pre-payments). It's causing more headaches and work for me because now I have to change the order on the tables when I closeout.
