Limits for breakout Registration

I  need to be able to set limits on the number who can sign up for each session.  Someone I spoke to several months ago said to use an appointment system but I can't figure out how.

You can use the Appointment Slots widget. This widget allows you to show what options are available. Here's a guide on how to add it to your form:

In the Form Builder, click the "Add Form Element" button. Go to "Widgets" tab and search for "Appointment Slots" widget. Once you find it, please drag it to the form. Here's a screen capture:

In the Widget Settings, you will see the "Appointment times" under the General tab. The format is "Option Name {Number}". Please check the screenshot below:
