if there a way to embed the name of the person in the URL, so that the field "Name" is automatically populated and read-only - so the user cannot change it

    Hi Murali,

Thanks for your patience, we appreciate it. You can use the Manual Prefill that is also available on Jotform features. When choosing Manual Prefill, you must provide the data to your form fields to create the Prefill URL. It's easy to do. Let me walk you through it:

    1. In the Form Builder, click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. Select Prefill in the left corner.
    3. Choose Manual Prefill and click on Add a New Prefill. Prefilled field of the form Image 1 Screenshot 40
    4. On the Manual Prefill, you need to input the data that you want to prepopulate so it will create a unique Prefill URL that you can send to your designated form responder. Prefilled field of the form Image 2 Screenshot 51
    5. Once done, click on the Three Dots icon of the created Prefilled and select Send Invitation to send the link to the respective recipient of the prefilled form. Prefilled field of the form Image 3 Screenshot 62

Lastly, you can create multiple manual prefill if you already have particular responders of your form.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
