How to setup shopping cart with jotform

    Hello!

I am a new customer and I am a developer looking to cut costs with a project for a friend by using JotForms. It is obvious how to handle most of my friend's needs; however, some of the more complex elements raise questions. In a nutshell, they lease space and equipment for weddings at their venue.  A customer will register using a JotForm and agree to terms, etc. This doubles as a contract, signed later. All of this is straightforward.

Currently, face-to-face a customer will choose from optional 100s of rental items and then pay 50% upfront for the cost of all the items. With all the many features of JotForm, I was considering adding the selection of the desired rental items to the online "form" part of the user journey. This in lieu of doing this face-to-face with a venue employee...

Upon submission, I would (via Zapier or a custom solution to cut costs) create/update a customer record and an invoice @ Quickbooks online. Future enhancements would like take advantage of your digital signature and payment solutions, etc.

In a nutshell, my goal is to use only JotForms and Quickbooks (and possible Zapier) and avoid the necessity of any server-side components for their website. I want a solution I can train them to use and remove their dependance upon me.

All this said, what would I use to implement this shopping cart'esque experience in JotForm, bearing in mind that our mutual customer would need to update the item list and associated photos and descriptions? Or, is JotForm not the tool for this part of the journey?

    Thanks!

If I understand you well you need to create a shopping cart that will link to Quickbooks via Zapier integration.

Unfortunately you may not be able to create a  complete shopping cart experience using Jotform but you can create Payment forms with Jotform.

The payment form will allow you to setup products and collect payment using supported payment merchant. Below is guide on how to create Products on Payment form.

I hope the above information is helpful. Kindly do let us know if you need further assistance.
