Sign Builder: How to Remove your Role as a Signee

Making a sign form and I only want the client to be able to sign the form, I do not need to sign the form.

Even though I assigned all fields to the client signer, I cannot remove myself and still have to "sign" the form via email for it to be completed.

    Any fix for this?

    Hi Amber,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To remove yourself as a Signee, you must remove yourself from the roles on all the fillable fields on your Sign Document, let me show you how to do it:

    1. In Sign Builder, click all the fields that are fillable and change the role to another Signee.
    2. Once you are done with this, you will only see two Signee on the Send tab, excluding you. Sign Builder: How to Remove your Role as a Signee Image 1 Screenshot 30

Here's my result: Sign Builder: How to Remove your Role as a Signee Image 2 Screenshot 41

If the issue still persists, can you please send us a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end? This guide will show you how to do that.

Give it a try, and let us know if you need more help.

I ended up re-creating the document and it worked to just have 1 signee. Not sure what happened, maybe because it was from a template? either way, thanks.
