Where is the Jotform data stored?

1. Where does the response data get stored?
2. Does the company that hosts the survey & responses have access to the data/documents collected?
3. What about backup? Availability?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Allow me to respond to your inquiry to the best of my ability. Our standard plans (Starter, Bronze, Silver, and Gold) operate on shared servers, which are currently located in the United States and Germany. These server locations align with those of major cloud service providers such as Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Google Cloud's data centers are situated in Iowa (US), while AWS has data centers in various locations, including Frankfurt (EU) and Virginia (US). For users outside of the European Union (EU), all data is stored exclusively on our US servers. You can also check out our Security page to learn more about how secure your data is on Jotform.
